Signalbriar privacy

Local progression, optional gameplay analytics, and clear controls for advertising privacy.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

This policy covers the Signalbriar mobile game for Android and iOS. Signalbriar is a general-audience game and is not directed to children.

Who is responsible for the data

Patrik Dóczy is the developer and data controller for Signalbriar. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to doczy.patrik410@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

Signalbriar stores gameplay progress, earned and equipped appearance items, settings, tutorial state, advertising-scheduler counters, and an entitlement cache for the Premium upgrade on your device. This information is used to operate the game and preserve your choices.

Local game data remains until you reset it through a supported game control, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Store-owned purchase records are controlled separately by Apple or Google and can be used to restore Premium.

Advertising

The iOS 1.0 release requests nonpersonalised ads and disables Google’s publisher first-party identifier used for ad personalisation. Ads are not selected using your cross-app browsing or app-use history. Nonpersonalised ads may still process the information below for delivery, frequency limits, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Google’s applicable consent and opt-out choices continue to apply. Android production advertising is not enabled in this release work.

The free mobile version uses Google AdMob to request and display interstitial advertisements between eligible runs. Google’s mobile advertising software may collect or share an IP address, approximate location inferred from that address, app and advertisement interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. The exact treatment depends on your region, device settings, and privacy choices.

Where required, Google’s consent form offers choices for personalised advertising and data processing before an advertisement is requested. Eligible users can revisit those choices through the game’s Privacy Options control. Signalbriar honours applicable opt-out signals and uses the most restrictive available advertising treatment.

Signalbriar does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers. It does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo-library access for advertising. Buying or restoring Premium disables Signalbriar’s interstitial advertising requests.

Optional gameplay analytics

Gameplay analytics are disabled by default. After the first Signal Draft tutorial, Signalbriar may ask for separate permission to send bounded gameplay and monetisation events to GameAnalytics. Declining or dismissing the request does not restrict gameplay, and the choice can be changed later in Settings.

If enabled, the data can include a pseudonymous, randomly generated analytics identifier and Apple device-vendor identifier; app version and platform; run mode and sector; run start and settlement; clear or defeat result; active gameplay duration; kill and draft counts; advertising availability and outcomes; Signalkeeper Pack views; and purchase, restoration, or entitlement outcomes. For a newly completed Premium purchase, the event may also include the actual purchase amount and three-letter currency supplied by the app store. These events are used to understand game balance, reliability, advertising frequency, and Premium conversion.

Signalbriar does not send names, email addresses, account identifiers, precise location, free-form text, save paths, run seeds, receipts, signed purchase payloads, purchase tokens, transaction or order identifiers, store-account identifiers, or payment-card details to GameAnalytics. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future gameplay event submission; it does not automatically erase events already processed.

Remote configuration

Signalbriar may contact GameAnalytics to obtain bounded operational settings, such as whether monetisation is enabled and the minimum time between advertisements, even when you have not opted in to gameplay-event submission. This Remote Config request can expose basic technical request data that an online service normally receives, such as an IP address, platform, app and SDK version, and network-request metadata. Declining, dismissing, or withdrawing gameplay analytics keeps gameplay-event submission off; it does not disable Remote Config. If a valid setting is unavailable, the game uses its last valid settings or compiled defaults.

GameAnalytics processes analytics on Patrik’s behalf. Its current data schedule retains raw and annotated data for one month, player warehouse data for one year, and player lookup data for up to 18 months. See the GameAnalytics developer policy and data-retention documentation.

Premium purchases

Premium purchases and restorations are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Signalbriar receives only the transaction or entitlement information needed to grant and restore Premium; Patrik does not receive your payment-card details. The store provider’s privacy policy governs its payment and account processing.

Children

Signalbriar is not designed for or directed to children. Patrik does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A player who is below the age at which they can provide valid consent should not enable optional gameplay analytics without permission from a parent or guardian where required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Signalbriar, contact Patrik using the address above.

Your choices and rights

You can disable gameplay analytics in Settings, revisit applicable advertising choices through Privacy Options, buy or restore Premium to remove interstitial advertisements, and delete local game data using device or supported in-game controls.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, to withdraw consent, or to receive a portable copy. Some United States laws may describe personalised advertising as a “sale” or “sharing”; eligible users can submit the provided opt-out choice without being denied the game’s normal functionality.

Send a request to doczy.patrik410@gmail.com. Because Signalbriar has no player accounts and uses pseudonymous identifiers, Patrik may need information available in the app’s Settings screen to locate relevant analytics data. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

International processing and security

Google, GameAnalytics, Apple, and their service providers may process information in countries other than yours, using the safeguards described in their policies and applicable agreements. Signalbriar and its providers use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated before Signalbriar materially changes its data collection, providers, purposes, or player controls. The date at the top identifies the current version.
